Bay-breasted Warbler
The aptly named Bay-breasted Warbler is also a Canadian bird much like the Nashville Warbler with even more born in Canada, an astounding 85%. This one was photographed deep in the boreal forest north of its charted breeding range in Gros Morne National Park just off the Berry Hill Pond trail deep in the boreal forest. This Bay-breasted Warbler was probably a recent arrival since it was only interested in finding bugs and grubs in the understory of the boreal forest. The Berry Hill Pond trail in Gros Morne National Park is a terrific visit due to its mix of; lake, marsh, bog, grassland and boreal forest. Bay-breasted Warbler
