The Great Bean Goose Expedition
I arrived at the Yarmouth Golf Club at 10:30AM. The drizzle had abated somewhat but it was still quite gloomy and yes the fog was still present. I checked the Golf Clubhouse first and found the Bean Goose almost immediately at the edge of a flock of about 200 Canada Geese. Trying to approach wild geese is a waste of time since they are wary and easily put to wing. My goose was too far away for meaningful photos so I tried a different approach and eventually found my goose feeding alone on a golf green east of Main Street. I took lots of photos but unfortunately the fog degraded the images much more than I expected. Comments
