Great Egret and Snowy Egret

I visited Conrad's Beach yesterday morning at 8:30AM. After parking my car a quick scan revealed a Great Egret in the north-eastern corner of the salt marsh. I followed the shore line path and was not visible to the egret so I was surprised when I spotted it flying south-west towards the boardwalk.  This was an active bird; flying one to two hundred metres, landing, stabbing at the water and moving on again. All my photographs are enlarged from severe crops. There was a Snowy Egret in the western end of Three Fathom Harbour. It was too distant for meaningfull photos. Great EgretGreat EgretGreat Egret
