I took a quick tour around Canning and Sheffield Mills, Nova Scotia, searching for raptors. My best photographs although severe crops were of a Red-tailed Hawk. This normally flighty bird appeared to be distracted in a field, possibly by a vole, so it allowed me some quick photographs. A Bald Eagle also posed for me.
