The Pine Warbler is a recent nesting species in Nova Scotia. We have visited and confirmed our colony by song and photograph for the seventh year in a row. Its invasion began through New Brunswick and then crossed over into Nova Scotia. This is Nova Scotia's twenty third(23) confirmed regular nesting species although I am sure there are others we have not yet discovered.
