Thrushes and Mimic Thrushes
I visited my usual locations to find and photograph the Swainson's thrush. The Hermit Thrush just appeared in front of me as I was packing up to leave Jerry Lawrence Provincial Park. It was gathering food for its nestlings.
The Grey Catbird nests in our front yard rose bramble every year. We see it early in the year up to late May and later into the summer and sometimes all winter. It remains silent when nesting.
