The Great Egret is not a rare bird in Nova Scotia but certainly hard to find at imes. It's usually more numerous in the spring migration but can turn up almost anywhere without pattern save for its love of marshes, salt and fresh. It's quite numerous in southern Ontario especially between Point Pelee National Park and Windsor.
Here's a collection from the years as they say in the movie biz, "remastered".
