Black-necked Stilt

September 25, 2019  •  Leave a Comment

The Black-necked Stilt, an elegant shorebird, is reported irregularly. It's probably an annual regular but that is impossible to prove.

It may or may not have dropped out of Dorian's eye. The Marbled Godwit, American Avocet and Glossy Ibis are also irregular visitors. I photographed two Glossy Ibis today but that will be on a later posting....I'm always behind this time of year as I try to take advantage of the fair weather.
