Waterfalls are certainly among my favourite subjects but alas in Nova Scotia they are hard to find in readily accessible locations. Most require trudges through mosquito and tick infested brush.
The easiest to access are on Cape Breton Island. There are several books available on the wheres and whens of waterfalls. Some waterfalls actually go dry in mid summer and winter visits can be dangerous.
