The Sundew is a predatory plant worthy of any science fiction horror movie. The sticky tentacles grasp the prey, then the jaws close around the victim and the plant digests at its leisure.
There are many varieties of this plant.
Sundew
When the Sundew reproduces it holds its attractant flowers high and safely away from the sticky tentacles so the insects depositing or carrying off pollen are not themselves trapped and digested. This would be counter productive.
