I returned to Brookfield Marsh to photograph the Canvasback. The light was better, a cloudy dull day. I had to shoot at 3200 ISO to stop the motion of the duck as it paddled along. Although my lens has 7 stops of image stabilization and my camera body 8 stops of image stabilization this doesn't help with the motion of the bird especially at 1200mm.
In post processing I still had to significantly enlarge the image.
