I enjoyed my first warbler sortie of the year looking for early spring arrivals. I went to Jerry Lawrence Provincial Park and found Palm, Yellow-rumped, Black-and-white, Blackburnian, Black-throated Green, Chestnut-sided and Northern Parula warblers in 15 minutes, all in one picnic parking spot. This park hosts 21 nesting warbler species. It's best for listening and identifying in early June, especially for beginners.
