After spending two uneventfull days at Brier Island I came home via Cape Sable Island to photograph the reported Glossy Ibis and enroute the Burrowing Owl.
Like all small owls the Burrowing Owl is extremely tame and subject to abuse by birders and photographers especially photographers with unsuitable focal lengths for bird photography.
As usual I used a 1200mm lens and even then I cropped the images. The owl was never disturbed and barely even looked at me.
