Four Laughing Gulls spent about a week at Sandy Cove's Beach. I checked on them daily and managed a few decent photos. Sandy Cove's Beach produces some of the nicest heaps of rotting kelp aroundthis area which fosters the development of kelp flies and maggots, a delicacy for the gulls although they seemed to spend more time in the shallows perhaps hunting small fish and invertebrates.
