Yellow-crowned Night HeronThe Yellow-crowned Night Heron was up to its usual ways,....eating crabs. The process is simple enough if a tad rough on the crab; catch the crab, shake-rattle-roll the crab to dislodge all the sea weed, pound the crab on rocks to remove all those annoying appendages that some humans seem to like, crack the shell to allow all the gastrointestinal juices to penetrate the soft centre of the crab, and then swallow it whole. Sound good? Yellow-crowned Night Heron
