The Northern Gannet or more properly known as the Great Northern Gannet(ask a Newfoundlander), is a magnificent flying and diving bird. Its lazy southern migration is punctuated with sudden and unexpected dives for prey fish.
They are on their way north to Cape St. Mary's, Newfoundland and Labrador, as I type.
